However, sometimes the cost of a well-drafted patent application (typically over £5,000) is prohibitive in the early days of a business.  Compromising on the quality or timing of that first patent filing can have disastrous consequences. It’s easy to end up with unnecessarily weak IP protection, or no protection at all.  Our High Growth Scheme is designed to help high growth start-ups facing difficulties in funding their key first patent application. It offers a 50% discount on the cost of a first UK patent filing through our firm.

You may qualify for this scheme if you:

• are a start-up filing your first patent application;
• can demonstrate that the patent application to be filed will be central to your business; and
• have a business plan that shows clear potential for high growth.
